Red Wing Shoes is home to a skillful batch of shoemakers who ply their trade on vintage machines originally patented back in 1893. Very many of these shoemakers have nearly 30 years of history with the company, genuinely masters of their craft.

Over a year ago, a team from Red Wing Shoes Amsterdam documented their visit to their Minnesota factory, as seen in the video above. Featured in this short film are the aforementioned shoemakers at work in addition to the Red Wing Shoes’ S.B. Foot tannery which was acquired by the brand back in the ’80s.
