FRESHNGOOD participated in L’Eroica 2011 which took place on October 1st and 2nd in Gaiole in Chianti. L’Eroica is a legendary cycling race between the roads of Siena and into the hills of Chianti. The event kicked off on that Saturday with vintage wine and good food, then continued onto Sunday where the vintage bikes were put to some hardcore cycling.

FNG reports that compared to L’Eroica 2010, there were definitely more spectators (some say “over 4000″) but overall the event “remained essentially unchanged with authentic spirit of this historic event dedicated to cycling.”

Sponsored by Le Coq Sportif, the FNG team was able to document the gathering, eat, drink, and cycle the legendary 75 miles.”Once again it was a great experience.”
