What do you think? Shwood and fellow Oregon-based company, Pendleton Woolen Mills,  has joined to produce a limited run of Shwood’s “Canby” frame style glasses. Featuring laser engraved temples etched in Pendleton’s “Chief Joseph” pattern, these frames are crafted from Oregon-grown Cherry wood and manufactured with a matching carrying pouch woven from a limited batch of wool made specifically for the project. Both companies certainly pay tribute to their state of Oregon, utilizing heritage manufacturing techniques that keep quality in mind over cheap economic profits.
