This short documentary was released by SwineTrotters after conducting a study in Auckland City, New Zealand. They wanted to take a closer look at the relationship between skateboarding and architecture, the piece largely focusing on public space and how skateboarders essentially make a play ground of them. Tonight SLAP Magazine presents Subway Skating, showcasing footage of riders breaking the rules, shredding in and out of stationary subway cars as well as throughout the station itself. Here’s another treat to my skateboarders, my film buffs, and my proud New Yorkers. 5Boro, the New York City based skateboard and apparel manufacturer, releases a holiday 2011 video, shot in some crisp contrast. Scored in Dave Brubeck’s “Take Five,” a skating video has never felt any classier. The footage is awesome.
